Biographical Notes

Mungo Alexander Guthrie was the son of William and Margaret McNab (née Morrison) Guthrie. He was educated at Waimataitai School. His father died in 1907. On 18 December 1909 at Tinwald he married Margaret Ross. Mungo and Margaret had two chidren. Aftaer the war they divorced and in 1920 Mungo married Grace Ross, by whom he had several children.
