Biographical Notes

Reginald Orton Macdonald was the second of the three sons of Farquhar Aisthorpe and Marion Jeannie (née Orton) Macdonald. He married Thyra Nellie Renall in 1921. His brother Allan Farquhar Macdonald also served in World War I, as did cousins Allan William Macdonald (died in accident in 1918 in England) and Donald Leslie Macdonald.
