Biographical Notes

Norman McLeod was the son of Neil and Beatrice (née Robson?) McLeod from the Isle of Skye. He married Martha Jane Calvert in 1915. he was a building contractor when he was called up in 1917. N. McLeod embarked at Liverpool for the return to New Zealand per the “Tahiti”. draft no. 204, carrying 950 soldiers, reached Port Chalmers on 12 January 1919.
