Biographical Notes

Martin Croucher was the son of john Martin and Elizabeth (née Jary) Croucher. He married Edith Henrietta May on 30 April 1900 at Nelson. They had five children when he enlisted. Martin and Edith divorced in 1919. m. Croucher left Timaru with the South Canterbury quota of the 16th Reinforcements on 3 May 1916.
