Biographical Notes

Selby George Cleary was the fifth child of Joseph Sealy and Ellen [née Tipping) Clear. His older brother William Tipping Clear died of disease in 1918; brother Cyril John Clear served in World War I, and brother Frank Clifford was drawn in the ballot. .
