Biographical Notes

Frank Clifford Cleary was the eighth child of Joseph Sealy and Ellen [née Tipping) Clear. His older brother William Tipping Clear died of disease in 1918; brothers Selby George and Cyril John Clear served in World War I. Frank was drawn in the seventh ballot.
