Biographical Notes

James McNeill Adams was the son of Isaac and Ellen Adams, of Waimate. He married Mildred Elizabeth Oates in 1917. James is named on Mildred's headstone in the Waimate Cemetery, with an incorrect date of death. His headstone in Andersons bay Cemetery has an error in service number. James was drawn in the 7th Ballot which included a big list of Waimate names.
