Biographical Notes

Gilmore Herbert Story was the second son, and sventh of the twelve children, of Arthur and Emily (née Hawkins). He was educated at Orari and Temuka schools. In 1920 he married Matilda Mabel Allan. His brother Clifford Frederick Story also served in World War I.
