Biographical Notes

James Alexander Auld was the fourth son of James Alexander and Sarah Dickie (née Stewart) Auld. He was educated at various schools in the North Island after the family moved. j. A. Auld was awarded the DCM. His brother Edwin Hugh Auld also served in World War I.
