Biographical Notes

Patrick Dermott Fleming (born and died Patrick Darby) was the son of Thomas and Ellen Fleming of Glenavy. Patrick returned to New Zealand per the "Athenic" in March 1919. His younger brother Thomas also served in World War I. Both Patrick and Thomas are remembered on the Glenavy Hall Honours List.
