Limbs well formed. Full and perfect movement of all joints. Chest well formed. Heart and lungs normal. Free from hernia, varicocele, haemorrhoids, inveterate or contagious skin disease. Varicose veins - slight above and below knee. Slight defects but not sufficient to cause rejection - nasal obstruction; varicose veins - very very slight above and below left knee. No fits. No notification for consumption. No treatment in asanatorium or mental institution. No absence from work through ill-health or accident. Nasal obstruction certified.

Biographical Notes

Michael CASEY was the son of Gerald CASEY and his wife Margaret née ROONEY. He was born on 11 March 1898 at Claremont and attended the local school there from 1903 until 1911. Two months after turning twenty he enlisted at Timaru. At the time he was working as ateamster for J. Scott at Cave.
