Biographical Notes

Colin McKIillop was born on 5 May 1887 at Palmerston, Otago, the son of James and Ellen McKillop. He was baptized on 5 November 1887 at St Mary's Anglican Church, Palmerston. He was educated at the Palmerston School. In 1916 he married Mary Jane Preece Kydd, the friend who was his next-of-kin.
