Biographical Notes

Archibald Blue was the son of Dougald and Mary (née Houston) Blue. He was educated at Totara Valley and Hazelburn schools. Between 1905 and 1911 the family moved to Balfour. There Archibald was a farmer when he was called up in 1917. His brother John also served in World War I.
