Biographical Notes

Douglas Graham Wallace was the youngest son of Frederick Lawrence and Emma (néé Cooper) Wallace. He was educated at Waimaraitai School. Douglas married Lillias Ellen Doull in 1921. His brothers, Eric Easton and Fred both served in World War I, and Henry Burton also enlisted. Douglas himself saw service again in World War II.
