Biographical Notes

Leonard William Connelly was the only son of William and Julia Augusta (née Morton) Connelly. Born in Dunedin on 23 October 1892, Leonard attended Waimataitai and Temuka schhools. He married Pansy Winifred Parke on 24 March 1920 at St Peter's Church, Temuka.
