Biographical Notes

Louis Patrick KANE was the son of Patrick and Johanna (Hanna/h née McAULIFFE) KANE. Louis was employed as a clerk with the Timaru Herald. Brother of Joseph Aloysius KANE, and cousin of Anthony Patrick Kane, Michael Joseph Kane and Patrick John Kane who also served in World War I.
