Biographical Notes

Walter Charles Fraser was the son of John and Elizabeth (née Kirby) Fraser. Walter died on 5 August 1952 in Christchurch and was buried in Timaru Cemetery with wife Elsie Maude (nee Wallace).

Two brothers, George Albert Fraser and Albert Hugh Fraser, also served in World War One.
