Biographical Notes

George Arthur Ball was the oldest son of Harry and Elizabeth Amelia (née Hall) Ball. He was educated at Ohoka, Opawa and Sydneham schools. Harry, junior, married Gertrude Margaret Dunn in 1919, His brother, George Arthur Ball, also served in World War I.
