Biographical Notes

James PITHIE was the son of Thomas Maxwell and Mary Jane (nee MILLS) PITHIE. He was a cousin of George PITHIE who served overseas in WWI, their fathers having emigrated from Scotland in 1866 and 1863 resepctively.
