Biographical Notes

George COULTER was born in 1891 at Rangitata, the son of Henry and Elizabeth (nee ASHBY) COULTER. He married Mary MacDONALD on 3 September 1918 at Geraldine. George went to some lenghths to enlist, only to fail to get overseas because of pre-existing medical issues. His brother Henry served in WWI before being invalided home.
