Biographical Notes

At the Kingsdown School picnic in late December 1917, the Mayor read a list of old pupils still on active service two sons of Mr S. HANSON should have been included in the list; one of them was awarded the Military Medal for distinguished service in France. Albert married Honora (Maude) O'Connor in 1922, where they farmed until his death in 1959. The couple had two children, Josie and Leo.
