Biographical Notes

Son of Walter & Susan (nee FISHER) WILLIAMS. Educated at Timaru Main School. Returned to New Zealand from the front & arrived in Timaru by train on 15th October 1917. Married Nora Angelina BROSNAHAN in 1919. Also served in the South African War, one of many South Cantabrians to do so. Brother William WILLIAMS also served in WWI.
