Biographical Notes

Frank received two promotions while at the Dardanelles. On the 18 April 1915 he was promoted from Private to Corporal and on the 8 May 1915 to Lance Sergeant. On the 24th April he was placed on the dangerously ill list at Alexandria after receiving gunshot wounds to the face.
