Biographical Notes

Archibald Feederick Patterson, known as Fred, was the son of John James and L. Patterson, of Queen St., Dannevirke.

When he enlisted in 1914 he gave his address as St Elmo, Wai-iti Road, Timaru. His brother's address was 31 Wai-iti Road. Archibald was wounded on 29 May 1915 at Quinn's Post, Gallipoli, and died the following day.

Fred's younger brother William Patterson enlisted in the NZ Medical Corps
