Biographical Notes

Brother James O'CONNOR also at Seadown in 1915, with Jerry Brosnahan. Among 442 "walking wounded" who arrived from the Somme and Messines, France at Auckland on 3 January 1918, then home to South Canterbury. John is named on the Seadown honours board (Returned) which was unveiled in a ceremony at the school in August 1920.
