Biographical Notes

Youngest son of Mrs F. M. MABEN. Educated at Timaru Main School & Timaru Boys High School. On teaching staff at Waimataitai School when he joined the 14th Reinforcements as a lieutenant (1916). Last rank held listed as Temporary Captain. Brother Thomas William MABEN also served in WWI.
