Biographical Notes

Son of Frederick and Margaret King.

"At Lithgow, Sydney, on Oct, private Joseph King, beloved son of Nurse King, 10 Rose Street, Timaru, ged 21 years. Private Joseph King, a son of Nurse King, Rose Street, Timaru, who died recently at Lithgow, Sydney, was accorded a military funeral at that town. Forty returned soldiers attended and many other soldiers and cadets were also in the procession." Timaru Herald 1 November 1917.
