Biographical Notes

Private Samuel Jones was the son of Charles Bright Jones and Mary Ann Jones; husband of Lilian Janette Jones, of 29, Maltby Avenue, Timaru. He was born at Fairlie. Prior to enlistment he was employed by Canterbury Farmers Coop in Geraldine as a machinery salesman.
