Biographical Notes

"It is reported with regret from Bulford that John Barbour, of the 12th Reinforcements, died there from pneumonia on August 18th" (Chronicles of the NZEF August 30, 1916 at P8); Son of James Barbour, of Loudown, Ayrshire, Scotland, and the late Anne Barbour.
